Gakhar, a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), brings more than 20 years of extensive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate controllership, treasury management, and retail lending operations.

Two Decades of Banking and NBFC Pedigree

Prior to joining ART Housing Finance, Gakhar held critical finance, operational, and top-tier management positions across prominent multinational banks and non-banking financial conglomerates:

  • GE Capital & Bank of America: Formative years spent managing controllership, corporate finance, credit risk analytics, and institutional compliance within global financial giants.
  • Clix Capital: Led core treasury, financial strategy, and funding syndication, optimizing capital allocation across diversified retail and secured SME portfolios.
  • Fintech & Non-Bank Leadership: Served as Chief Financial Officer and subsequently as Chief Executive Officer at PC Financial Services, overseeing multi-crore digital balance sheets, regulatory engagements, and debt structuring.

Strategic Focus: Liquidity Optimization and Affordable Housing Scale

As Chief Financial Officer, Gakhar’s core mandate centers on:

  1. Asset-Liability Management (ALM): Ensuring strict maturity matching to insulate the housing finance company against interest-rate volatility and systemic liquidity crunches.
  2. Diversified Funding Architecture: Expanding long-term refinance lines from the National Housing Bank (NHB), broadening relationships with public/private sector banks, and exploring structured capital market instruments (such as Non-Convertible Debentures and securitization/PTCs).
  3. Margin & Operational Efficiency: Lowering overall blended borrowing costs to support competitive mortgage pricing while sustaining high Return on Assets (RoA) and capital adequacy ratios.
