ICICI Bank increased its corporate social responsibility allocation to ₹801 Cr in FY25, a 54% year-on-year jump, channelled through the ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth. Healthcare initiatives supported 4 lakh patients in FY25, underpinned by a ₹1,800 Cr commitment to Tata Memorial Centre for new cancer hospitals. Women's empowerment programmes reached 10 lakh women during the year and 1.1 Cr cumulatively since inception.
Rural livelihoods work touched 91 lakh people, with ₹141 Cr deployed on food security and skills training. The bank has set a carbon neutrality target (Scope 1 & 2) for 2032, and reported 3,387 Cr litres of water harvested and 17,453 water bodies revived during FY25.
Chairman Pradeep Kumar Sinha highlighted that digital tools now strengthen ESG monitoring and accountability across the bank's operations. ESG integration into lending decisions signals a shift toward embedding sustainability criteria into credit allocation—a move that signals lender appetite for linking credit quality to environmental and social outcomes.
